Comparison of the characteristics of the experimental assemblies of electrolyte-supporting batteries and metal-supporting solid oxide fuel cells

Abstraсt: This article presents research on evaluating the characteristics of experimental battery assemblies for solid oxide fuel cells (TTE) based on metals and electrolytes. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that metal-absorbing TE batteries are characterized by better weight and size characteristics, electrical power and warm-up time to operating temperature. Despite the shorter service life of metal structures, their advantages allow you to make a choice in their favor when assembling batteries for the automotive industry.

Keywords: batteries, solid oxide fuel cells, metal-supported sofc, the electrolyte-support sofc.

Thermal analysis and explosion/combustion properties of industrial photoresists

Abstraсt: Product 27B and Product 451, two industrial positive photoresists based on naphthoquinon-diazides, were first investigated using a number of experimental and computational methods. Thermal analysis of TG- DTA was performed for the samples, kinetic parameters of the initial stage of thermal decomposition of the samples were calculated, their fire-and-explosion properties were obtained, their sensitivity to mechanical influences was determined, and the enthalpy of formation and heat of combustion were calculated. The data presented in this article were transmitted to the manufacturer and recommended for the development of safety measures at work.

Keywords: naphtoquinonediazide, photoresists, thermal analysis, fire safety, explosion safety.

Mass transfer in the channels of a differential contact centrifugal extractor

Abstraсt: The article discusses a mathematical model of mass transfer in differential contact centrifugal extractors. The influence of the change in the angular velocity on the degree of separation of substances is considered. A graph comparing the experimental and calculated values of the concentration of the extractant in the aqueous phase at the outlet of the extractor, as well as the experimental results of the study of mass transfer in a three-channel centrifugal extractor is presented.

Keywords: mass transfer, extraction, centrifugal extractors, mathematical model.

Influence of the finishing high-temperature treatment depending on the physicomechanical and thermophysical properties of the discretely and randomly reinforced carbon-carbon material based on pitch matrices

Abstraсt: The changes of the physicomechanical and thermophysical properties of the discretely randomly reinforced carbon-carbon composite depending on the high-temperature treatment in the temperature range 1800-2190 *C have been investigated. The characteristics of crystallites: the stacking height, the crystallite size, the degree of graphitization of a carbon-carbon composite material obtained by pitch depending on the temperature of the final heat treatment in the range 1800-2400 ‘C have been determined. The influence of the degree of graphitization of the matrix on the material properties has been confirmed by studying the mechanism of destruction during three-point bending. The correlation between the thermal conductivity and the hardness of the material has been established. The temperature of the high-temperature treatment for the material that may provide high and stable physicomechanical and thermophysical properties has been determined.
